About the Coding Workshops
The Coding Workshops are designed to help beginners of all ages learn to code. They will be project based, with provided modules that attendees can go through at their own pace with the help and mentorship of experienced programmers. Our first workshop will be on Scratch, a block-based visual programming language. This is a good starting point for middle schoolers who are just beginning to get into programming. The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 7. Our second workshop will be on Python, a general purpose programming language. This is a good language for people of all ages to start learning, due to its simple syntax and versatility. The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 14. Our third workshop will be on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. These languages are essential for anyone of any age who plans on building their own websites. The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 28. |
